Founding Attorney

Coming from an entrepreneurial family, Tiffany A. Kahnen has a passion for providing companies with a solid foundation and creative solutions to their complex legal needs, encouraging corporate growth and entrepreneurial velocity.

Ms. Kahnen is a dynamic corporate & strategic transactional attorney, possessing experience as both in-house and outside counsel.  Prior to founding Four Corners General Counsel, Ms. Kahnen acted as Associate In-House Counsel for an Advertising Agency, where she focused on mergers & acquisitions, contractual transactions, co-branding efforts, IP protection, risk management, corporate governance, HR advisory, contract management and litigation.  As In-House Counsel, Ms. Kahnen gained valuable experience in minimizing the risks and adversities faced by the corporation, while maximizing the opportunities and assets upon which a company must capitalize.  

Having been raised in an entrepreneurial family, Ms. Kahnen understands the importance of efficiently and effectively providing a company the fundamental corners upon which to grow a business and create a legacy.  This experience has armed her with a business savvy and an understanding of the dynamic of privately held companies which cannot be taught.  This unique foundation enables her to deliver well crafted legal advice backed by an inherent business understanding.

As an attorney at a Newport Beach based business law firm, Ms. Kahnen represented large and small corporations, providing legal advisory in M&A transactions, IP protection & maximization, private placements, strategic transactions, co-branding efforts & litigation, as well as sports and entertainment law. Previous to her experience in Newport Beach, Ms. Kahnen practiced as an attorney with a Los Angeles law firm, where she focused her practice on business & IP matters, as well as, media, commercial and general civil litigation. 

Ms. Kahnen is admitted to practice law before all courts in the State of California, as well as in the United States District Court for the Central District of California.  Her experience includes litigating disputes involving general commercial litigation, the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), Lanham Act, The Copyright Act of 1976, infringement of intellectual property within the internet medium & misappropriation of trade secrets. She also has experience with ADR and international service of process under the Hague Convention. 

Currently, Ms. Kahnen serves on the Board of Directors for the Southern California Venture Network (SCVN), which fuels her passion for entrepreneurial growth, while providing an invaluable network of corporate contacts.

Ms. Kahnen received her Juris Doctorate from Whittier Law School, where she completed a specialized curriculum earning a certificate in Intellectual Property. While at Whittier, Ms. Kahnen was also an active member of the Whittier Law Journal, an honors board.  As a graduate from the University of Southern California (USC), Ms. Kahnen received a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism, with an emphasis in Communication Law and Media Policy.   At USC, she was a member of the 2004 NCAA Women’s Waterpolo Division I National Championship team.
